I never know what the canvas will become. Art connects us deeply, and it's a passion and legacy I now share with my daughters. Yay
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating detailed illustrations and paintings that bring imagination to life. Much of my work has a bold, tattoo-inspired style with strong lines, expressive faces, and meaningful symbolism. I enjoy blending realism with imagination so each piece tells a story. Whether it's on canvas or paper, my goal is always the same: create something that makes people feel something when they see it.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from everywhere—music, culture, emotions, and the people around me. I’m especially inspired by imagination and the freedom of not knowing exactly what will appear on the canvas until I begin. My daughters inspire me the most. Watching them create reminds me that art is about joy, curiosity, and expression. That same excitement is what keeps me creating every day.
What would you do with $25,000?Winning this would allow me to invest more into my art and grow as an artist. I would upgrade my art supplies and equipment, create a dedicated studio space, and expand my ability to share my work with the world. Most importantly, I would continue encouraging my daughters' creativity and show them that passion, hard work, and belief in yourself can turn dreams into reality.
