The main reason I create art is to reflect the beauty and intricacy I see around me, in hopes to convey a feeling or idea.

I mostly do abstract backgrounds with a pseudo-realistic pop figure or POP art style figure in the foreground. I mostly use acrylic, Latex, Watercolor or mix them all depending on the energy or mood of the piece I’m working on. I like to take the time and layer the figures or objects in the painting so that they naturally fit into the crannies with the texture, color, and direction of the aforementioned ‘environment’ of the painting.
Where do you find inspiration?Life, Death, Light, Shadow. I find inspiration in People or places that bring me a sense of wonder, beauty, Strength, landmark times and events. Also I adore certain landscapes and sometimes I try to portray a place I want to keep in my mind or heart forever and will often populate it with people or creatures or even Geometry that I find interesting or that I identify with, sometimes just having an unspoken knowledge between myself and the Subject about location or what communication we have.
What would you do with $25,000?I would likely run out and spend a good deal on new sketchbooks and Copic markers because I have been working on my line work and Comic style storyboards lately. But I would also go Buy a new Fender Strat and a Line 6 amp because I lost mine in Pawn. Starving artist is a thing.. but I also have friends who are artists as well and I’d probably get us all new supplies. Paying Rent so I’m not indigent goes without saying. Thank You
