I used to be remarkably shy in voice, but my paintings shout my personality for me before my words get a chance. I create to understand.

I prefer visual fine arts, with a heavy focus on portraits. I like to create art that feels a little like humanity, even if it’s a landscape. If I ever had the means, I truly covet the idea of making of graphic novel of my own.
Where do you find inspiration?I’ve found with mental health struggles, the best outlet is creation. Inspiration strikes in the strangest ways. When I can’t find the words I have to describe someone or something, I’m inspired to try and catch that feeling somehow. So I paint, a lot.
What would you do with $25,000?I’m not sure where to begin; it would change my life. I’ve spent the last few years surviving by fulfilling the ideas of others, and I’d finally have the opportunity to work on my own. I’ve tried my hardest to work on an original graphic novel for the last few years, always running out of money, not inspiration. That said, I thank you all for providing this chance to any artist.
