My art and my music are the most genuine expression of who I am. Beyond my children, my art will leave behind my unique perspective
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like using recycled or found objects , people always say art is a gift , until you ask them to pay for it . The cost of domestic materials made it so that if I spend $50 on paint and steel and hand pound a flower, then detail with my airbrush If it took me 8 hrs and I wanted my $50 back, if I priced it at $150 which is less than minimum wage for my gift , nobody would buy it because a similar flower is $4.99 at any store . So trash into cash , repurposing the unwanted and recycling!
Where do you find inspiration?I see patterns and shapes and forms that emerge from a portion of metal or a piece of quartz that becomes an alien head , really I just like to create things that don’t already exist .
What would you do with $25,000?Start over ( less my boys ,art and music) Make lots of stuff :) expand my horizons and explore new ideas , possibly address some stuff , pretend to be an adult
