Art is the language I use to express myself and share how I understand humanity. Creating art is instinctive for me, it defines who I am.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My work explores emotion and psychological depth, revealing the shared humanity that connects us and dissolving the barriers that divide us. I create expressionist paintings that push and distort reality to heighten its emotional impact. My work is meant to engage the senses, spark reflection, and evoke a visceral response. I believe art should open space for thought rather than dictating it. Above all, I aim to channel emotion and stir an emotional response from the observer.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from the world around me, what I see, notice, and experience in everyday life. Small, often overlooked moments can carry surprising emotional weight, such as a photograph, a song, a passing interaction, or even the rhythm of daily routines can all spark an idea. These fragments of life often serve as starting points that I translate and transform into my own visual language.
What would you do with $25,000?Winning would allow me to devote more time to my studio practice, allowing my work to develop with greater depth and consistency. It would give me the opportunity to participate more actively in art fairs and exhibitions, helping me share my work with a wider audience. More importantly, it would reduce the need to rely so heavily on my secular job, giving me the space to focus more fully on my creative practice and reinvest my energy directly into my art.
