I create geometric abstract works that shape light into form. Through color, reflection, and spatial layering, the work shifts with the viewer—expanding perception and dissolving the boundary between object and atmosphere. Rooted in both painting and sculptural installation, my practice explores how light can define space, evoke movement, and transform the viewer’s experience of their surroundings.
Where do you find inspiration?My work is informed by the behavior of light in architectural space, as well as atmospheric conditions such as sky, horizon, and shifting color fields. I am influenced by geometric systems, repetition, and the idea of infinity as a spatial and perceptual construct. Drawing from a background in architecture, I explore how structure and light interact to shape experience, creating works that shift with movement and reveal new spatial relationships over time.
What would you do with $25,000?I would expand my work into larger, immersive installations—using light-responsive materials to create environments that transform with movement and perception. The support would allow me to scale both concept and experience.
