I love creating art projects to catch a shimmer of consciousness and shape it into something that pulls us toward syntropy.

Most recently, Thought Book: A Mind Atlas of Tangents and Cosmic Speculation. I love creating art that makes the world feel like it is moving into another realm. To shift perception, I dance, design outfits, build assemblage pieces, and transform spaces like my home and Spire into symbolic environments. For me, art is the practice of turning the ordinary into something otherworldly.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in moments of perception, making eye contact with stars, listening to the ambient music of my city, watching light reflect unusually. Inspiration sparks from small signals: sound, motion, mood, and the feeling of connection to the infinite.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to keep Spire, a non-profit in Oakland, running so it can continue supporting and uplifting the artist community. This funding would help sustain the space, expand programming, and ensure that artists have an accessible, creative home to gather, grow and innovate.
