Creating art is an outlet to think about and explore all the things I feel and can't put to words. It is a reflex. Like breathing.

I love to mashup things. I play a lot with plastic models. It lets me take something and explore shapes. Using pieces or things I find and put them together. But I draw a lot, write, doodle. I have to keep my mind working in more "official" actions. Hence lots of doodles in the margins of my notes.
Where do you find inspiration? In discovery. I found a Cadillac hubcap wheel cover thing. It was scarred and damaged in the dirt next to the road. Its shape and chrome made me think to do something with it. That is how it works. I find something and play with it. Then I get the idea to do something with it. Then things just sort of happen.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put pause on work for a while. See if I could take a month off. And dedicate that time to working on all these ideas I want to do but just don't have the time for.
