My favorite type of art to create is graphite drawings. Something about the way of having power to draw anything gives me a lot of pleasure. Graphite is also a very forgiving medium and you can always turn your art into something new if you don’t like it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from my mother. Since she was raised in Iran she never got to experience the full life of being an artist. Women in Iran are not allowed to express themselves as they please so I gather my inspiration from what they can’t do and express myself for all of us together.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put the money towards my grad school program and paying off any student debt that I have. I’m pursuing an art degree so getting this money would mean funding my passion in becoming an artist!
