I really enjoy collage as a way to study and practice perspective; by blending ideas, I hone my senses. Currently, I find myself drawing a great deal with pastel pencils, charcoal, and graphite.
Where do you find inspiration?The very reality of what we call existence is, to me, unclassifiable; and all the tragedies and wonders—the miseries and beauties—of the world inspire in me sights or visions to transform into art... and, of course, I read a great deal and consume a vast amount of culture.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to invest the money in an art studio or workshop so I could work there for a good while...
