Art has always been a part of my life—not as a choice but as a natural connection. A part of my heart and soul is in each piece.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is the kind that starts spontaneously, moves in a constant flow, and expresses the essence of the emotion or feeling that I’m trying to create. Where you can feel the part of your soul coming out of the piece.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the little things. The things that bring me joy, the people who love and support me, and the constant amount of projects left for the imagination to create. My love of wolves, cherry blossoms, nature, animals, Pokémon, Alice in wonderland, and studio ghibli will always highly influence what I want to create. All you need to do is take a moment and look around. There’s inspiration in all aspects of life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the money to pay off any of my debts. The remainder would go to art supplies and a congratulatory sushi feast. I’m constantly wanting to try new things and this doesn’t help my wallet as much as it helps my creative mindset. As for the sushi part, my body needs sustenance too!
