Creating art lets me shape what is not visible, express what I feel, and connect with others beyond words.

I create sculptural reliefs using wood, stone, and found minerals, combining organic textures with carefully developed forms. My work exists between art and function, where each piece reflects material, process, and transformation. I approach creation as an act of listening, working with materials shaped by time and allowing their natural qualities to guide the final result.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, especially the ocean and coastal environments, where time and the elements shape surfaces and forms. I’m drawn to textures, contrasts, and details that often go unnoticed. I’m also inspired by the idea that creation is a living process, where there is a connection between material, form, and the person working with it. Through that process, I participate in what is being formed. My daughter, Genesis, is an important source of inspiration. She reminds me te amo .
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in materials, tools, and improvements to my workspace to develop a focused collection of sculptural pieces. This would allow me to refine my process, work at a larger scale, and explore stronger material combinations. My goal would be to complete a cohesive body of work ready for exhibition, while continuing to build a space where art can be experienced and shared in a direct and meaningful way.
