My art is an extension of my soul and my connection to Mother Earth. I reuse, repurpose, and include bits of gifts from my Goddess.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
3D mixed media on canvas, using nature & salvaged anything that fits into the emerging them.
Where do you find inspiration?I start with gesso & gel medium soaked fabric which I maneuver into physical patterns. I go by touch until it feels "right". I go from there there adding textures with anything that works. I have a series of Woods Women who protect nature. Another series are in honor of my Hearth & Home Goddess. Some are abstracts of textures & color. To me these paintings create themselves, they grow and evolve, they change & morph into unexpected visions.
What would you do with $25,000?I would create a studio where I can get all plastery without worrying about how to clean it all up.
