Where do you find inspiration?I find so much beauty and depth in everything: the stories haunting an old man’s eyes; a child’s infectious laughter; the bend in a mountain road, opening onto a field of sunflowers; a waterfall cascading down a cliff; the magic of the Upland Sonoran desert; the hot coral Pacific Coast sunset; the heady oxytocin, dopamine, and vasopressin cocktail, also known as falling in love. Music. Food. Everything and anything.
What would you do with $25,000?Write more poetry and music, and definitely take more road trips. Create spaces for spoken word performance (i.e., venues). I would also love to write another novel. I’ve written two.
