Body art is especially powerful to me, because it helps my models feel beautiful, or to be someone else for a while in their painted skin. It is a shared sense of escapism and it feels euphoric and cathartic for each of us.

I find inspiration just living my life. Sometimes a color combo or design will ask me to notice them deeper. People, places I visit, astrology, animals and plants in my environment are all places I draw inspiration from. I also like to use color stories from my favorite artists. I feel inspired by knowing the stories of people who I interact with and I end up painting on them. I also find inspiration in music and love to let it direct my flowing painted lines. I honor my mother with my art.

I would go on a European tour and make beautiful fine art body paintings, using the colored body to complement and contrast structures and environments I discover. I have so much art I want to make in my mind, so many questions I want to ask with my art and $25,000 would help me create more art! I would make prints of my body paintings and paint on them, redefine them. I would invest for my future, and I would help an animal sanctuary. Everything I do with it would make my mom proud.
