I love to paint pet portraits but abstract art has been my favorite for a long time. Lots of lines, color and something that people can talk about and everyone gets something different. I do a lot of geometrical and dark art. But pet portraits has been what I've been really into a lot lately. Giving someone a tribute to there fur baby. I paint them as is they are doing their own self portrait
Where do you find inspiration?In high school. Salvador Dali's Sleep painting really caught my eye. That and Starry Night. The use of the brush strokes and how it wasn't neat, it was a lot of paint in layers. I also told inspiration from my own loss. The kids of u dog helping me get through the pain by painting him and others, gives me peace and a sense of accomplishment and pure happiness
What would you do with $25,000?Id pay off a few small bills. Id get me a really good easel, canvases, paints and brushes. Finish a tattoo that has been a long time being covered up and take my mom on a road trip with me, my husband and daughter. Something my dad wanted to do before he passed away and couldn't
