Hello! My name is Shari Lujan I am an analog collage artist from Belgium residing in Northern California. I draw my inspiration from grief
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Analog Collage art - Art that sparks a deep emotion and speaks to you without reservation. Art that can be romantic and whimsical or dark and mysterious. There is so much beauty in the world if we choose to see it. I like to make art that comes from my experiences with grief and the power that it holds.
Where do you find inspiration?Through the beauty in the world that seems to be an oversight a lot of times. Through time and healing have I found the outlet that has changed me both as a person and as an artist. I am forever grateful for whatever happens and for the ability to show my art and to hopefully bring out genuine emotions.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in myself for the first time in my life by gaining new materials for my art. I would also invest in the community - renting a little space for workshops for artists and creatives to come and have the opportunity to release their own emotions.
