Sharon Braxton

I was affected by the Eaton fires. Stayed in 8 different hotels for six months. Came home. Started painting to heal. Found a new passion.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in prayer, outside, nature, and giving to people who are in need. I love to paint. It inspires me to breathe and live.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would do my mindful art workshop for the beautiful fire victims of the Eaton fires and then the Palisades fires. I would purchase all of the materials and offer it for free. It consist of mindful meditation and then paint what is on the heart. I would also find a permanent place to live and pay several months of rent and then host a paint party. Lastly, I would find a struggling art student and give him/her a 'keep moving forward' check.
