I create to bring forth the surrounding light hoping to stir and provoke an auric awakening. of sorts.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
To capture light in my art I Intuit the materials that will show the vision I hold, therefore each creation stands independently to be experienced on the viewer's terms. Many collectors share that my paintings change every time they look at them, offering them a deeper, timeless value.
Where do you find inspiration?Creation has no bounds thankfully. Getting lost in something never seen before or most generally ignored by those in its presence brings joy. An example is my watercolor "Dinghy Moor" that was a result of being on a Bar Harbor pier which offered a stunning view of incoming tall ships but I was completely drawn to create art depicting the sun bleached dinghies below.
What would you do with $25,000?What a blessing that would be as it would allow me to teach as well as travel to France and Italy.
