I love making art because it allows me to decompress from the uncertainty of our trying times. I also get to tell stories in layered ways.

Any mixed media. It can be beads or acrylic paint, twigs, twine..whatever. I am mostly dedicated to seeing the story emerging and that story always has to do with hope and survival.
Where do you find inspiration?Nature! My family. My own commitment to surviving and even having a triumph or two! Or three!
What would you do with $25,000?I’d open a center where I can reinstall an installation I made in the tiny house in my front yard. It would contain about 1000 pieces I’ve made this century. It would be community facing. Some of the building would be used to exhibit other work especially the work of older people and children, I want it to be a performance space, too. I want to leave hope.
