Creating art lets everything else fade away. It clears my mind, feels therapeutic, and gives me space to simply be present.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create blends abstract expression, landscapes, and mixed media using both alcohol inks and acrylics. I’m drawn to fluid movement, layered texture, and the balance between control and unpredictability. Nature inspires much of my work through mist, water, stone, sky, and shifting light. I love creating pieces that feel atmospheric and emotional rather than literal, each one intuitive, expressive, and one of a kind.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature’s quiet details the shifting light through trees, weathered stone, water in motion, wild textures, and changing seasons. There’s something grounding in how nothing in nature is forced, yet everything belongs. It reminds me to create intuitively, trust the process, and find beauty in imperfection, movement, and stillness.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would transform my backyard into a creative intuitive studio where art, healing, and connection come together. Funds would go toward building and designing the space, lighting, furnishings, storage, and art supplies. It would host painting workshops, floral collaborations, and mindful gatherings in a peaceful outdoor setting where people can reconnect with creativity and leave feeling inspired.
