Creativity is the essence of life & connected to how we live it. Magic happens when befriending the creative process in spaces in between.

Large scale digital prints that incorporate acrylic, resin & most often start with photography for inspiration. I include suggestive elements from nature through an Indigenous lens in much of my work. Creating art that holds the viewer long enough to perhaps see just beyond what they initially thought they were supposed to be seeing can create a deeper sense of discovery, within the art itself and also personally. Being privy to this transformation is an incredible source of gratitude for me.
Where do you find inspiration? We try to understand things via wanting to define them. If my art persuades or initiates thoughts that induce emotions or feelings, perhaps different in the same for each individual viewer, then I would say this accomplishment defies definition while also creating its own unique purpose, one that can be very personal and at the same time openly shared. I find inspiration through connection; to people, to nature, to wild places, and to the transformation of each, inclusive of each piece of my art
What would you do with $25,000?I would use some of it to bring community together in a creative way for First Nations peoples and also the less fortunate. I would plan an art show in Penticton BC Canada, where i live. The money would provide some breathing room for being able to commit whole-heartedly to curating a show thematic to the area. I suffered a concussion a few months ago although my focus and creative spirit has been suffering re engaging with art and the artistic process has been incredibly beneficial for healing.
