My favorite type of art to make is professional oil painting, specifically focused on classical realism and mythological symbolism. I enjoy exploring the intersection of traditional portraiture and deeper symbolic narratives in my work.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m drawn to the human figure, particularly in portraits that capture visceral vulnerability and atmospheric depth. I often explore themes of resilience, childhood, and adversity, weaving together folklore and the human spirit
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would likely balance the immediate needs of my historic home with the expansion of my creative and community projects. I would love to invest a significant portion of that into my kids and expanding children's programming within the community. Including offering workshops and fellowships to the public school system and low income students. I currently teach art, design and historic restoration at Wildwood Academy and :)
