I like to create abstract … where the meaning is defined by the viewer. I don’t think people realize the power of abstract art. It allows the viewer to give an opinion and meaning of their own which is a creative outlook on how an individual thinks. Everyone’s opinion is a reflection of their thoughts which is shaped by their upbringing , past and present experiences. Abstract art allows you to feel the art personally and make it your own.
Where do you find inspiration?I would say from people, places, cultures, and life; just things around me in general. The most interesting creature is a human and the most interesting subject is human behavior and the cognition of the mind to create whatever it desires. Everything was once an idea in someone’s mind just like this competition.The art of the complexity of human emotion and understanding is what drive my passion for art and every time I create it’s like an open ended question I leave for you to answer.
What would you do with $25,000?Currently I am in transition to have my own place. The goal is to have my own art space and this will help a lot. I want to create my own website and turn 25K into more. Use money to make more money. Also NYC has a lot of artists on the streets so I want to create a channel where I can help people achieve what they desire, get them off the streets via creativity. This creates a community ripple effect. 25K is not much but enough to generate more abundance when ideas are brilliant!
