I love working with mix media on paper or canvas. Acrylic paints, with collage, stencils and interesting textures. I like visuals with layers, textures and shapes to add depth and detail.
Where do you find inspiration?My work is inspired by the intersection of nature, emotion, and intuition. Living near water and surrounded by shifting light and seasons, I am drawn to quiet, meaningful moments. I paint intuitively, allowing each piece to unfold through layered textures, movement, and subtle detail. Often, hidden elements emerge, creating a sense of depth and quiet mystery. My work explores connection, reflection, and the unseen, inviting viewers to pause, look closer, and discover their own meaning.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to fully commit to my art practice by developing a cohesive body of work inspired by nature and intuition. I would invest in high-quality materials, framing, and professional presentation, while expanding into prints and local retail opportunities. This would allow me to reach a wider audience and build a sustainable path as a working artist.
