My favourite art to create is abstract paintings with acrylic. I never really have a plan. I usually see what I have and then start from there. It’s very therapeutic to just play on a canvas with no expectations of how it’ll work out. I like seeing the different stages compared to how the end product turns out. Especially when there was no plan.
Where do you find inspiration?I pull inspiration from stuff all around me, also other artists! Seeing them take lots of risks inspires me to just go for it. I like to maybe try different things out of my comfort zone to see if I can do it. I really am interested in human body and want to perfect drawing bodies and faces! I never got to that class in University.
What would you do with $25,000?I think I would use some of it to create a proper space for my creations & acquire more supplies. I don’t have a space or easel so my house can be in disarray when I am creating a piece of work! My friends sometimes want projects made so maybe that would allow me to create more work for people and have my pieces out there. I also would take a few more classes of fine arts to improve my body drawing technique.
