I love and adore all mediums. My passion and energy is dedicated to glass mosaics. My main focus is to inspire others to create and find joy through the act of creating.
Where do you find inspiration?I was inspired by my mom to pick up the mosaic medium. I teach expressive art at a mental health/substance abuse facility. I wanted to bring a medium that best represents the journey to recovery. At times we fill broken and it’s challenging to find our self worth. The ironic thing about mosaics is that the true magic happens after you break a perfect sheet of glass into shards of glass. Most importantly traditional tattoos helped me in my own recovery and fell in love with the tattoo community.
What would you do with $25,000?I want to experience success in my hopes to becoming an independent artist. I would take a portion of the winnings for my start up business first and foremost. I would also love to take my family on a forever lasting experience. A vacation that my children will remember for the rest of their life. My hopes are that they can recognize hard work dedication passion and using failure as a stepping stone not a burden. Lastly celebrate and dance.
