My paintings are my heart. Inspired by the bigness and smallness of nature, light, love, color, and all the magic.

My favorite type of art to create is paintings using oil stick on paper, specifically linseed oil. I start by choosing a color I’m drawn to and then simply let each painting develop as I go. Often abstract, they illustrate hints of structure and simultaneously are meant to be dreamy in nature.
Where do you find inspiration? Most of my inspiration comes from nature. How light beams shine between the redwoods or highlight a particular leaf, movement of the water, or grasses, shadows cast, or the feelings that come from watching a moon drop or sunset. Color, light, breath, and love generally guide what comes from my heart and onto the paper.
What would you do with $25,000?I have a long journey of creating ahead. It started here in Big Sur, where nature is bigger than life. Where you can't help but melt into the colors, the light, power, softness, and energy of the place. I'd like to lean into a growth edge, offering a new location for a month (or longer), seeing how a new place might change or shift my current storyline.
