My favorite art to create is brilliant abstracts, full of vibrancy. Rich in colors and exploring the emotional and spiritual frequencies that connect us all, using abstraction, sound, and movement to create a layered narrative that is both personal and universal. Serving as a vital medium for social cohesion, communication, oral history, and spiritual expression.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration mainly in Nature. It serves as a never ending palette for colors and information, found nowhere else
What would you do with $25,000?The $25,000 prize would be invaluable for me, as I continue to develop my artistic practice, ultimately enriching the cultural offerings of Miami and enhancing our community's appreciation for the arts. Portion of it would go towards the rental of a studio, I will use rest of prize to develop an Installation and a series of motion-censored paintings along painted gourds activating sound paired with original audio compositions. Portion of proceeds would also go to a Kids Home Education Program.
