Usually I end up seeing myself lean in to more abstract expressionism… but what is abstract expressionism? So I basically create what I am feeling at that moment in time. Could be painting, could be sculpture, could be mixed media or/and Design. Designing a beautiful set for a theatre or film that collaborates different types of creative art, paint, sculptor, patterns, design and special effects. Art is art.
Where do you find inspiration?I get my inspiration from lots of things, once in a while I post “little things that makes one smile that people don’t appreciate. Like a purple flower drowning in brown leaves during fall”. I get inspired by Nature, Texture, Patterns,Jazz music, Poetry, Theatre and Film (Set and Costume). Performance, And mostly from other amazing artists. I don’t have very specifics but the World is an inspiration and so is the Universe.
What would you do with $25,000?I’m currently studying for my MFA in Theatre and Film Design at New York University. The money would help me through my post grad journey at NYU. Paying rent, buying art materials, visiting places that can inspire my art work(galleries, theaters, museum, jazz clubs). Art is my life, all I did in my life was art. So the money would help open more doors for the creative artistic talent that I have and help me help others especially under privileged artistic children.
