I have loved to draw and paint. Sometimes I paint what I see, sometimes expression or abstract is dominant. Colors vibrate as shapes control

Abstract expressionism frees me. I flow through the movement and line. Going into the painting, pulling out what attaches me. Pushing what is of interest and using various materials and tools. Exploring techniques and allowing my mind to influence outcome and to just sit with work as an observer.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration all around me, in the shadows, negative and positive spaces of the natural world. The images that come out of a pile of rocks or layers of fabric or fallen twigs intrigue me. People watching in tight spaces like buses and trains. I find inspiration by laying a large peace of brown paper down and covering the paper with large swaths of paint. Something about that process frees me up to add more color and shapes and lines to delineate and contrast movement, flow and space.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25,000, a larger space to work would probably be on my list along with art supplies and tools.
