I create art to translate the unseen—what lingers in the dark—turning emotion, tension, and truth into something felt.

I love creating pictures and mixed media pieces that feel alive—where charcoal, paint, and texture collide. My work lives in contrast: light and dark, softness and tension, control and chaos. I focus on the unseen parts of identity—the emotions we carry, the things we don’t say, and the quiet pull between trust and vulnerability.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in emotional awareness—moments of tension, silence, and unspoken connection. I’m drawn to the way people feel things they can’t always express, as well as the contrast between calm and chaos. Music, memory, and introspection all play a role in shaping my work, especially the parts of myself that exist between light and darkness.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to fully commit to my growth as an artist—investing in materials, space, and opportunities to expand my work. My goal is to create pieces that make people feel seen, understood, and less alone. I also want to give back to the homeless community in my city, using my art to bring visibility, dignity, and connection. That used to be me. And I know what it means to be seen.
