I create art to express the pain my people have gone through and survived.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is one that reflects my dedication to my Indigenous communities and my deep connection to my heritage. I love creating pieces that carry meaningful messages and themes that resonate with my cultural identity. Additionally, I find joy in creating art that is close to my mother's heart, which I bring to life using various art forms such as sketch, charcoal, and acrylic.
Where do you find inspiration?Mixing traditional Indigenous themes with personal connections to family in my artwork brings me a sense of fulfillment and purpose in my creative expression.
What would you do with $25,000?This money would go to continuing my education in law school and to help my family.
