Art has been a way to combine my love for economics and creativity together. Logic and rationale with creation and self expression.

Abstraction is my favorite type of art when it comes to expressing my logical and creative side. I usually lean towards sculpture as a way of expressing these two sides as it is a more labourous type of art compared to 2-D art. I think this is a fitting medium to express imagination and rationality it takes effort to merge them real world. And if you do find these two traits together, it is good to note and appreciate the extraordinary things that happen when these traits merge.
Where do you find inspiration?I found inspiration when learning economics. It challenged me to understand the world around me in a lens that I was not use to as an artist; I had to see it as an economist. It was uncomfortable, and it pushed me to be more logical than creative. In turn, it opened my world to new ideas and understanding of how humans react.
What would you do with $25,000?The economist in me says to invest it. However, my creative side wants to spend it on art projects. I think to satisfy both sides, I'll invest in my loved ones as well as invest in my art. Creating art has been in the background while I work, so this will be a good confirmation that combining my logicical and creative sides in my art is something people will enjoy and appreciate.
