I create using all art mediums, but pen and pencil are my favorite. The shading, harsh lines, and rawness of the piece using those mediums is unmatched to me. For style, I love making darker art. Where you see the beauty in all things widely seen as dark, sad, or too harsh. Everywhere there is beauty and art, so I love showing it in the areas most people would rather ignore.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere, from a random shadow, my dreams, everyday supplies, the people around me, older buildings, nightmares, books, music, entertainment, and nature. I have always tried to see the artistic potential in everything around me, because you never know where you’re next piece will be inspired from.
What would you do with $25,000?Even though I try to use very affordable supplies, to help others see you don’t need high end stuff to make art. I would replenish my supplies, I’d love to find a place to rent so I have more space to create everything I’ve been wanting to and teach others. And I would take my parents and brother to see some of the best art museums, since I’ve always dreamed to but never had the funds. That money would help me fulfill my dreams of being a full time artist and experiencing all art and culture.
