Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been creating. To this day I love to create and share stories of my life with others around.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to make is Traditional Native Art. Which revolves around the Hopi culture and its uses of symbolism, history and iconography. Providing a different perspective of stories through different styles.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from memories, sometimes stories I hear, or from family. They each have a unique narrative to themselves. It’s how it comes to me in the way they want to be portrayed or perceived. Sometimes in a naturalistic state or different presentations.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the award money for support of my artist career. As well as assisting not only myself, but my family through any means. Boosting my siblings in their educational journey. I plan to not only use the money for myself but to share it with those closest to me.
