My love of art comes from the ability to extract aesthetic DNA that feels as if it contains the information of an entire impossible reality.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is work that feels like home in a world that can be drab and cold. I want to create art that is pure whimsy, pure freedom, something I can live in as if it's my own planet. :)
Where do you find inspiration? My biggest inspiration is combining aspects of everyday life into something cosmically beautiful. I've taken common items like buttons, scissors, envelopes and sort of thread them into much larger more epic environments. It's as if the Milky Way galaxy holds as much weight in my art as a thumb tack. haha
What would you do with $25,000?I have a degenerating spine, so 25,000 dollars would level up my ability to get access to decent care. But primarily I would use the funds to expand in new directions like designing an installation. Right now I'm working on extremely intricate moving painting animations. I would combine this with my original music and poetry. My biggest goal is to continue to combine hundreds more multimedia techniques as I have already been. Recently, as one example, I imbedded altered subway maps into art
