Making art is a necessity of mine. I need it to feel a semblance of sanity, joy and hope.

Receive Text UpdatesI dabble in many forms of art. I love mixed media. I use paint, printmaking techniques, drawing, fiber, and collage. I like to give new life and meaning to the materials I use. My favorite art is the kind that teaches me something new.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in love and in pain. I use my experiences to shape my work. I look for inspiration everywhere- whether it’s a trip to the grocery store, a night out with friends, or a doctor’s appointment. Life is so beautiful, and there are so many things that go unnoticed if you aren’t looking.
What would you do with $25,000?With this money I would love to make a dedicated makers space with people close to me who have this common artistic drive. Many of us cannot afford to spend money on a studio space, let alone meet basic needs consistently. This would be life- changing for me and the people I love. It would be inspiring and uplifting to walk into a space where I can create/collaborate with people I care about.
