I make Baroque inspired acrylic paintings of still life exploring contemporary themes such as: alienation, queer existence, and death.

I love to make acrylic paintings. My inspiration is the Old Masters, but I approach it with a contemporary twist.
Where do you find inspiration? My main inspiration is Old Master paintings from the years 1600-1800. I find endless possibilities utilizing their various techniques and strategies. I apply what I learn from looking at them to my own art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would embark on a series of paintings on shaped panels about science and artificial intelligence. I would use the money to purchase the woodworking equipment necessary to build the panels and frames.
