Where do you find inspiration?As an Ecuadorian/chilean, I find myself always mixing and integrating the ancestral indigenous world, with its wisdom and cosmovision; with our contemporary adventure.
What would you do with $25,000?finish my first novel “the holy heresy” which is in a 417 page draft. But as an immigrant, I work the days, and try to write the nights. With 25k I can dive deep, and focus solely in the craft, and finish this piece. The holy heresy is the story of a Brooklyn teenager, who discovers six ancestral masks that transport him to the memories of its previous owners. Ancient Amazonian Shamans, students of the old gods, through whom he will learn about the deep curse carried by his lineage.
