I love creating art because it feeds my curiosity, imagination & grounds my otherwise chaotic mind. It’s intuitive & something I cannot stop

I enjoy creating all kinds of art, there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer for me. While I primarily focus on drawing and oil painting, I'm especially drawn to any hands-on creative work. From leather working and sewing, to cake decorating, and sculpting or even origami. I also love taking random materials with even more random inspiration and challenging myself to bring those visions to life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everything around me, even in the mundane - It could be the way light is reflecting off an object, beauty I find in the natural structure of a person’s face, certain textures, or colors, elements in nature, or the melodies and percussive elements across different genres of music (I have an eclectic taste and often listen for mood and sound rather than lyrics). I also find inspiration from other creatives.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were to win the $25,000, I would use it as a foundation to begin building something I've envisioned for a long time - a shared studio and gallery space for artists in my community - somewhere to create, collaborate, connect with the public, and witness art being created in real time. It would make art more accessible while supporting local creatives. It would also help me create a more stable future for my family and show my children that pursuing passion and purpose is possible.
