I’ve always been most attracted to ceramic sculpture. There’s something magical about taking a material as natural and grounded as clay and forming it with my bare hands into quite literally anything I desire. My favorite things to make are my ceramic intention stars. 3D, 12 pointed stars called Stellated Dodecahedrons, that represent the bridge between the spiritual and material realm. I write my client’s wishes and place them inside the stars before firing. Charging the star to their wish.

I find inspiration from Sacred Geometry and the desires of the people around me. My stars are meant to help people identify their goals in this lifetime and be a grounding tool for meditation and manifestation to help them achieve those desires. I am forever inspired by the infinite number of dreams a single human can have and the power a person possesses when they believe in themselves.

The $25K would breathe new life into Delaplaine Design Inc. I'd invest in advertising to broaden my audience, purchase quality materials and tools for my ceramics practice, and a stylish wardrobe built from sustainable, natural fabrics. How I show up publicly matters. But most importantly, I'd finally clear the business taxes that have weighed on me for over a year. It's not something I talk about, but removing that burden would change everything.
