My favorite type of art I like to create is mixed media pieces. I like to combine paint, yarn, unique fabric or papers, and use my own designs into my paintings.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from my family. I grew up in a multicultural family. My mom is from Paris, France. My dad is from Rabat, Morocco. I grew up speaking French. I am inspired by fashion, color, women empowerment, and celebrating diversity within my art. My parents inspire me with their creativity. I love visiting them in Arizona where the saguaros are. I love the birds and feeling that warm sun! I get very inspired when I’m there. Nature is always inspiring!
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000 I would want to use that to help my family. My mom is truly an amazing woman. She is the primary caretaker of my dad. My dad is 89 years old. He currently has dementia. Watching my mom take care of my dad has been very challenging. I would like to be able to offer my mom assistance in any way that I can. They influenced my life as an artist on so many levels. They have been married for over 55 years. They are pure joy, love, passion, and laughter.
