Colors, shapes, and textures have followed me my whole life. I can't and won't escape "it" for as long as I live. And I'm happy with that.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Colorful art is the way for me. But recently I've started to dabble in darker tones and values. I mostly draw women, only because women have the most diverse features that really call to me. Men are beautiful, but I'm too shy to look at an attractive guy for too long.
Where do you find inspiration? My Inspiration started with colors. When I was a kid art class was my favorite. Then as I got older my Inspiration came from magazines, music, animation, comics, Manga, and fashion shows. Now I'm inspired by fellow artists and what they do, at first I thought that I was jealous of others; but then I realized I just wanted to incorporate different techniques into my work. Humbling myself and learning from others has changed both my art and myself for the better.
What would you do with $25,000?Share it with my family. They've always encouraged me to keep going even when I was frustrated. The other is to expand it into generational wealth. Being homeless as a kid, living with other family members, and now being an adult taught me much about life and how a large sum of money isn't readily available no matter how much you wish it was. I told myself if I ever had the chance I'd change my family's life. But I wouldn't let it get to my head, living with substance is a special kind of wealth
