The creation of art is the closest human effort, maybe even on a level with creating music and a bit less important than making love!

In working with the land, and with the people who are historically/ spiritually connected with the land, we embrace the insights and artistic impulses of indigenous cultures! My team of artists embrace not just the creation of the art as a finished product ...but the gestalt that builds between participants in the ‘practice' itself. Guided by the seasons...by the whims of nature..the community that joins us in this ‘practice’... teaches us...as we hope to impart our own knowledge and skill.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere!. I find inspiration in the great writers, the great philosophers, the great artists, but maybe more importantly, the great friends, film makers, musicians, poets, activists, teachers, and spiritualists whom I have collaborated with. None of these measure up to the inspiration that I glean from family members.. my amazing son ...my brothers and my sister..whose lives buoy me against the calamity of life itself. Art is a manifestation of mankind’s desire to sustain a just life.
What would you do with $25,000?Travel Back to my old friends in Havana to finish our work with Cubans to celebrate our shared history - the ‘White Rose ‘ earthwork celebrating Jose Marti-
