Creating art is just a part of me like breathing and walking. It just is something that I have to do in order to be a whole person.

I love ceramics the most, but I have several loves when it comes to making art. I do printmaking, drawing, and watercolor too. I'm always looking to try the next media, most recently leather work and soon stained glass!
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in all places. I look inward to my emotions, outward to the beauty and struggles around me. I look to love, life, death, family, and shit that I just think looks cool. I feel inspired by subjects just as much as I do the media that I'm working with itself. Creating art is meant for me, and I never limit myself to any singular inspiration, subject, technique, or media.
What would you do with $25,000?What would I do with $25 grand, huh? Well, lots of things. I would use it to support the family that raised me, my husband, our cats, my friends, etc. Of course it would be smart to invest it, though I would also want to use it on new supplies for making new types of art, like running my own community studio for glass blowing and ceramics so I can share beautiful craft-making with my San Antonio community.
