Where do you find inspiration?An empty canvas, abandoned buildings, warehouses, or redesigned buildings inspire me because in them lie the building's history. The joy, pain, and suffering of the people who used to live inside. The hope and grind to pay the next bill. The struggle to live rent-to-rent, but still have to clean the noodles out of the sink after the house party. The people of Brooklyn inspire me. From Browsville to Bedstuy, Sunset Park, but also the people from Vail Colorado, and Treichville in Abidjan.
What would you do with $25,000?I am developing a DBA under my LLC to put together a collective of creative vendors. It will allow us to find venues where we can show our arts or prayers. I am also opening a creative Non Alcoholic Caffee like in Amsterdam. We will have coffee from Masaki, a master coffee brewer from Japan. It will also be home to a creative Listening Room after hours, where we can safely exchange ideas and give constructive criticism.
