Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I love using polymer clay to bring my drawings, paintings, sketches and ideas to life. I love how it feels to create something from my imagination. It's like a simultaneous release and capture of my creativity. Making ghosts has become something more to me than a creative outlet. It has blessed me with many wonderful opportunities, meeting other artists and talking with complete strangers who comment on or purchase my work. I also love seeing peoples expressions when they see my ghosts in person

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration from many parts of my life. From things I collect and like to surround myself with, to random everyday conversations I have with people, to wanting but not being able to have one of my fave treats. For example, one time I really wanted an everything bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. It was not available for me to have at the time. So instead I made a small ghost holding the most perfect tiny everything bagel with cream cheese.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use a small portion of the money for advertising and getting my name out there, also to buy polymer clay and supplies to support my art business Li'l Spirit Co. I'm mainly going to use it to publish my children's book idea "a Li'l Spirit goes a long way". A story about my ghost character that goes on a challenging journey and succeeds when they thought they wouldn't. I have always wanted to be an author and this would help me reach that goal.
