As I draw everything fades away and it becomes just me and the page. I love capturing emotion. Art is healing and can ease pain people face

I enjoy creating emotional, realistic artwork through both drawing and photography. I focus on portraits of people and animals, capturing moments of strength, vulnerability, and real human experience. I like working in black and white with graphite or charcoal to emphasize contrast and emotion, and through photography I aim to capture genuine, expressive moments that people can connect with.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration from life, both my own experiences and the experiences of others. I am a passionate person shaped by challenges and growth. Those emotions turn into ideas I express through art. I am deeply inspired by Africa, especially Tanzania, and the resilience of the people, the beauty of the land, and the strength it takes to endure hardship. The Serengeti, the animals, and the communities I have connected with all influence how I think and create.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to support my 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Heroes Walk Strong Foundation, created in memory of my cousin who passed from stage 4 breast cancer. We partner with communities in Tanzania to provide food, housing, and education. Funds would go toward solar panels, water filters, and computers for a local school of Samaria. Any remaining funds would help build safer homes for children in the Samaria village who currently live in deteriorating brick structures with leaking metal roofs.
