I create art because social narratives around gender, duality and the process of self mastery need to be expressed through color and form.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!

Receive Text UpdatesI love creating art that says something words can't always relay. I use emotionally charged color combinations, masculine and feminine shapes and layers of paper to represent the complex underworkings of personal and cultural identity to create an abstract translation of knowing and recognition. I convert dreams, personal discoveries and out of body experiences into a shared visual experience and conversation.
Where do you find inspiration? Most of my inspiration comes from the deep personal work I do within the psychic realm including constant research in the zodiac and astrology, discovering and learning my intuitive gifts, psychedelic journeys, life coaching and communication with other gifted individuals who are in touch with their highest Selves and the beauty of this Earth that is a never ending display of connection, color and geometry.
What would you do with $25,000?Living in a small town in the north state, it will be used for travel expenses to visit galleries throughout California to find spaces that resonate with me and my work, introduce myself and hopefully get so involved, I eventually move there. This prize will also help further my current series, Holding Space, into the next phase called, AlgoRhythms, that requires more expensive materials, such as glass, large inflatable objects and large canvases to study the evolution of human emotion and ego.
